vs Polonia
In spite of their loss to rivals, Polonia, London Malory are almost safe from a relegation battle that could see them drop from England's top flight for the first time.

Malory are currently fifth in the table.  8th placed Riga will definitely drop out of the division but a win for Solent against Lynx and a win for Lynx against Sheffield would see Malory drop to 7th.  The 7th placed team will play off to remain in the Super 8s next season.  Our form book doesn't suggest a win for Solent or a victory for Lynx over the Yorkshiremen but the future is not set.

Saturday's match saw Malory play host to arch rivals Polonia. The visitors travelled at full strength but Malory were depleted, without a number of key offensive players.  Young star Jermaine Miles was forced to play out of position and coach Jefferson Williams struggled to hold back his guests with few attacking options.  Classic wing attacks from Polonia gave them the first set comfortably but Malory were able to steal set two and serve for set three before succumbing to Polonia's continued pressure.

Super cool Williams hasn't yet given up on honours this season as the Eagles travel to 2nd placed Wessex in the Cup semi-final on Saturday. "Overall the team is moving in the right direction but we might have run out of time."
